Courréges SS23 Poem

Courréges SS23

Contained within an hourglass the straw-colored sand fell

Time slipping through decorated fingers

Clean lines moved in a circle like the hands of an old grandfather clock

Painted neutral and alabaster white

Seemingly pure

But surprise!

Spikes appeared too.

Straps wrapped around chests and hung loose on biceps

Ankles adorned with crystal clusters walked barefoot in sand

Others left their kitten heel impressions on the land

Structured denim blue and black leather too

A hint of navy even made a debut

Sheer aubergine

And an ode to its ‘60s past

The ombre sun set on the grain

Glittering “bare” chests ruled the terrain
